Nintendo has announced a new range of Joy-Cons for its Switch and Switch OLED consoles that will brighten up your summer. They also look like you could lick them all over, like ice lollies.

Available in packs of pastel pink and pastel yellow, plus pastel purple and pastel green, they were announced by the Japanese gaming giant on Twitter. They’ll be available to purchase from 30 June 2023.

Also coming the same day is the sequel to the party game that launched with the Switch six years ago – 1-2-Switch.

Everybody 1-2-Switch is another collection of minigames that use the Joy-Cons in all manner of interesting ways. The games will be short once more and there are points to be won during team play.

We’ve always found 1-2-Switch underrated and have had great fun playing it during family gatherings so the follow-up could reinvigorate the motion gaming aspects of the Switch again.

Everybody 1-2-Switch

The sequel to 1-2-Switch promises team play and a whole host of brand-new party games.

Everybody 1-2-Switch is available to pre-order now. Nintendo promises to reveal more on the game over the next couple of weeks.

You can also keep an eye out for pre-orders of the pastel-coloured Joy-Cons. We doubt it’ll be long until they too are available.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons (pastel purple / pastel green)

The pastel purple and green Joy-Cons come in a dual pack to turn your Switch candy bar-coloured.

Everybody 1-2-Switch will cost £24.99 on its release at the end of the month. You can find out more on Nintendo’s website.
