PlayStation has announced that its Days of Play sales event will start on 2 June 2023. That means you’ll be able to grab bargains directly from Sony itself, on all manner of PS5 games, accessories and more.
One of the more exciting products that’ll be discounted is PlayStation Plus. All membership tiers will be slashed by 25 per cent from the start of the event until 12 June. That means you’ll be able to nab yourself a year’s worth of PS Plus Premium (the highest tier) for just £75. That works out at just £6.25 per month.
It’ll be reduced to $90 / €90 in the US and central Europe respectively.
The best news is that you won’t even need to be a new member. The discounted price is available to existing members too – the new subscription period will start after your current one expires.
Alternatively, existing members will be able to upgrade their tier by opting for a 1-, 3- or 12-month upgrade, which will also be available with 25 per cent off.
Sony has also announced that select digital game downloads will be listed with up to 40 per cent off, when you use the code DOPSAVE40 at checkout on the official online PlayStation store. Accessories, such as the Pulse 3D headset, will get 15 per cent off when using the code, DOPSAVE15.
If you don’t own a PlayStation 5 yet, never fear – there will also be great deals on PS4 games and accessories. Although now might also be an ideal time to look into getting yourself the current-gen console while you’re at it – such as a God of War: Ragnarök bundle.
