As well as Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft has a game subscription service available for PC gamers. It is available either standalone or as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership and offers 100s of Windows games for one monthly fee.

What is PC Game Pass?
Previously known as Xbox Game Pass for PC, PC Game Pass is an all-you-can-eat subscription service that gives you access to an ever-growing library of titles to download and play as often as you like (as long as you remain a member).
In many respects, it is similar to PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium and Nintendo Switch Online. However, it most closely resembles Microsoft’s own Xbox Game Pass for its consoles.
Indeed, as well as offered separately, you can get PC Game Pass as part of an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, which also includes Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Cloud Gaming, EA Play, Xbox Live Gold and a stack of exclusive deals and offers.
in the near future, Microsoft will also allow PC Game Pass subscribers to access the library through Nvidia GeForce Now – the cloud gaming service specifically for PC versions of games.
How much does PC Game Pass cost?
If you don’t own an Xbox console nor want to stream games to your mobile device, a standalone PC Game Pass subscription will set you back £7.99 / $9.99 per month.
However, even if you just want one of the extra benefits afforded by Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, it’s very much worth upgrading your membership and paying £12.99 / $16.99 per month instead. You get a lot more bang for your buck that way.
And, as that’s the new price set through a recent price hike, you can still get Game Pass Ultimate for £10.99 if you get a code from Amazon. That price won’t last too long though, we suspect.
